I don't mind telling you that I was a bit nervous about having a website, so I hope you like what you see. I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have been reading my books over the years and have taken the time to email or snail mail me. Your positive feedback is the gasoline that keeps my creative engines going and your comments have frequently made my day, week, month . My family and my cats thank you also!

For those of you who haven't read my books yet, I sure hope you'll give them a try! I write books to make people smile, to bring some laughter into a reader's day. I figure we could all use a little more of that in our lives, right? I don't know of anyone who says "No, thanks, I've got all the laughter I can handle right now!" Too much stress, yes --too much laughter? Naw. Although I do remember this one time when I was 11 that I laughed so hard that my best friend and I spewed chocolate milk all over the prim pink-and-white striped wallpaper we were helping my mom put up, but that's another story that will show up in a book someday soon.

I'm often asked where I get the ideas for my books. Sometimes I say "the Idea Closet" but the truth is that writers get ideas from all around them.

I've been a romance writer for nearly 15 years now, but I've been a romance reader for over 20 years. I have walls filled with keeper shelves of books and I have all the signs of bookhoarding -- including the inability to pass a bookstore without checking inside to see if anything new has come out!
